NTU Hall Dance + Symmetry

Joy asked me to watch her dance performance since two years back and I finally did it this year. This year was special as it was her last year and she was the captain. Sort of 'experienced' uni hall life in that 4 hours. Life in Kaplan is SO much different from NTU HAHAHA. (too many.... FTs)

Thank you Fiona for going with with me :') We each gave her one daisy too!

Ok anywayzzzz, she was too busy with her dance and we finally had a chance to have a proper meet up after so many months. I was craving for truffle fries so we settled for Symmetry since it was near my school. The time we reached wasat 4:30pm so there isn't any mains for lunch/ dinner. I guess the timing is just weird.. too late for lunch and too early for dinner. I didn't want to eat bread because I was too hungry and I needed proper food to fill my growling stomach. You don't give a hungry man bread do you? Hahaha but I was wrong.. it totally filled me. Food's awesome just too pricey? Not sure if all these (two mains + two milkshakes) are worth $70

Oh! We requested the fries to be truffle fries so we had to additionally top up $4 each. OMG GONNA INVEST IN ONE BOTTLE OF TRUFFLE OIL AND COOK TILL MY FILL AT HOME.

Watched Non-stop after dinner. I love Liam Neeson. His character in this show is quite similar to the one in Taken I feel. After movie, we went to EwF for dessert. Ordered truffle fries again!!! Woohooo. Too much though.. we couldn't finish it. Hahaha.

Had my Reunion dinner over @ Jasmine's place.

Dinner was a fusion of Thai and Chinese cuisine which was superb! Love how my Aunty from Thailand always whip up Thai dishes. And me, being an avid fan of Thai food is always looking forward to her cooking! :)

Spot my new haircut. Decided to do away with all my damaged ends! The CNY promotion at Bugis Essensual came just in time for me to do up my hair just before the lunar new year. 

初一

This year CNY was different from usual. Visited my Dad's side at the other end of Singapore. Managed to sneak some time out to snap #OOTDs. I love the shot of my shoes which I bought from TaoBao. So dreamy. Pencil skirt's from TaoBao too! Thanks to Keith for helping me out with the payment and shipping :) I love my MK bag which I gotten it from my 21st. Gonna blog about it sooooooon! Hopefully, maybe... maybe not.

Grandma looked so happy! I love louhei. One of the reason why I'm always looking forward to CNY. Hahaha ok actually there's too many reason why I love CNY. 

初二

Dressed up to be at home while waiting for people to come over. Hahaha. So we did what we do best - Camwhore. I realized that I didn't take any photos with my parents this year. Caught Hello Babies at the end of the day with my family and it was not too bad. Very funny!!

初三

Spent the afternoon @ Kel's place for steamboat. Steamboat prepared by parent is indeed different from the usual one we made! Soup base was of real ingredient (not like the ones we prepare are not 'real' just that it mainly come from processed food...) & I love the peppery pig intestine soup! I'm sure the easte would differ so badly if steamboat were to be held at my place instead :P

初五

Impromptu BBQ session at my place just because Xylia and I crave for it. Surprisingly, it was almost full attendance just lacking of Felly who unfortunately stay opposite from all of us at the far far end of S'pore.

Leemay and Jordan were like the mommy and daddy who prepared the ingredients for us while we played MJ. After this CNY, I realized that MJ is my new found love and I would love to play it again even though I pretty still suck at it. Glad that my MJ kahkis all stay just a stone throw away from me I'm sorry Felly... you just stay too far away. :P 

We were all bloated at the end of the day. Again, this is my closet bunch of girls from secondary school whom I would want to keep close to my heart.

Opened all my red packets after 15 days of lunar new year. Yay all these are going to be my ''sponsor'' for my upcoming Bkk (YES, AGAIN) trip next month! I'm so thrilled even though this will be my 5th trip there within the past 2 years and no amount of words could contain my excitement! Such a bummer that Xylia got to give up her ticket due to her cousin's wedding. But we are so lucky to find a replacement within such a short span of time (like 6 hours?!). It will just be us four girls for this 4d3n trip. CAN'T WAIT. 

Anyway, hope everyone enjoyed this lunar new year as much as I did! Looking forward to the next one on Feb 19 already! :)

Happy 2014 folks ^_^!! 

2013, especially the later part of the year has been nothing but bad for me. This year saw heartbreaks, broken trust, struggling to meet project deadline and many sleepless night. No new year resolution this year, actually I stopped making one ever since years back because nothing ever get done and its sad knowing that you accomplish nothing the entire year. All I wish for in 2014 is to be a better person than I was last year. 

On a lighter note, 2013 is the first and definitely will also be the last year of me attending the most number of 21st. More than 10 parties and mostly are hosted by friends dear to me. I just realized that I did not blog any single one of 'em! Omg, I think I should do compilation of all into one blog post and last but not least, a separate entry for my #ym21st. I really need to find time to pen that entry down. There's too many people I would like to thank and I want to remember every single details down through this blog. But as the days get longer, memory starts fading. Should really get started ASAP! Ah! & my recent trip to BKK which is not so recent anymore like three months back hahaha I haven't even adjusted the pictures! Really gotta stop doing back tracked post!

Thank you for staying with me yet another year ♥ No amount of words baby could describe how much I love you and how fortunate am I to have you in my life :') 

December, you came too quickly.

Say whuuuuut? It's the last month of the year and in just aprox. 30 days time, 2013 will come to a closure. Both good and bad. Good, because the first half of 2013 was wonderful for me but many things turned nasty at the second half of the year. Was totally dreading it. So it is all good that this year is coming to an end. Bad, because very soon its gonna be my birthday and I'm so afraid that it is going to be a failure....... like I would ruin my own party or something. Sigh. & baby's off to Taiwan next week so there will be no extra pair of hands to help me! But heh thankfully, he's only there for a week. 

Exam in the upcomin' week. Norris' 21st the following and then, my birthday *GASPS* 

All the party prepping are making me sick in the stomach.. i'm especially worried for the noise level as there will be quite a no. of people and what if the hotel manager chase us all out ?! Omg, my biggest fear and concern.

Last lesson for this semester in 6 hours time. Time to hit the sack. Bye world~ 

Tick Tock Goes The Clock

I've been so busy ever since school started last month. Every weekend is filled with activities. Just September alone, I attended three 21st party! A surprise party for dear tintin, Ivy's one @ Micheal Hotel & May's one at Changi area. And then the main highlight for this month will definitely be my Bkk trip (yes! again!). Of course, wholly enjoyed myself for this trip & the main credit is certainly the company :') wish I could pen down all details of the trip on my blog.. so that in future, I can look back to my travel post and recall as much as I can. There's so much to blog about but I do not know where to start and also I guess the biggest problem lies on my goldfish memory. As one week passes by, memory starts fading. Sigh, how could one trip that used to hold much dear memories be forgotten? That's why they say happiness is short lived. 

Attended two 21st this week. Eamon's party was totally eye-popping, wow-wow one. My dream ''suite'' every since I saw TypicalBen's 21st. Never expect myself to land up there one day! Heh, another thing to be thankful for this month. :') Just came back from Night of Horror last Sat and it wasn't as boring as what most people perceived! I kinda enjoyed it though I got freaked out a few times haha but then again, whats the fun without getting scared? :)  

For the past weeks, it felt like time spent with the boy wasn't enough. I wish there were a day in between of Saturday and Sunday. I wish there wasn't army or guard duty.. wish he could be here anytime I feel like seeing him. But oh well, #lifeofaNSgf. Sharon and Dad birthday this week plus Felly's Hens night. My closest friend is getting married and I'm super stoked for her!! OMG. On top of all these activities, still gotta juggle between the endless project and work. Reckon within fun, study and money, you just gotta give up on one. Guess which one did I choose to give up on next month?

Celebrated Edwin's 21st over at Jamie Oliver. I was super looking forward to this day because it marks the last day of exam! Yepzzz, its a month (or more) backdated post. Holiday are long over and I'm already in my third week of a new semester. Hah. Anyway, the food looked too deli to not post it up. #majorfoodporn

Truffle fries! I prefer this kind of 'fatter' fries compared to the normal thin ones.

Overall, nice ambiance with over-priced and not filling food. Well, as least to most of us. Haha.  

Last but not least, group photo! A norm for every outing. Edwin's eyes are always closed! Hahaha. Short of one to our Perfect 10! The clique haven't been meeting for quite some time now & hopefully in our next meeting, it will be full attendance and filled with fun, joy and laughter like how we used to be. :)
