December, you came too quickly.

Say whuuuuut? It's the last month of the year and in just aprox. 30 days time, 2013 will come to a closure. Both good and bad. Good, because the first half of 2013 was wonderful for me but many things turned nasty at the second half of the year. Was totally dreading it. So it is all good that this year is coming to an end. Bad, because very soon its gonna be my birthday and I'm so afraid that it is going to be a failure....... like I would ruin my own party or something. Sigh. & baby's off to Taiwan next week so there will be no extra pair of hands to help me! But heh thankfully, he's only there for a week.

Exam in the upcomin' week. Norris' 21st the following and then, my birthday *GASPS*
All the party prepping are making me sick in the stomach.. i'm especially worried for the noise level as there will be quite a no. of people and what if the hotel manager chase us all out ?! Omg, my biggest fear and concern.

Me on top of my world. My world, literally.
Last lesson for this semester in 6 hours time. Time to hit the sack. Bye world~

Tick Tock Goes The Clock

I've been so busy ever since school started last month. Every weekend is filled with activities. Just September alone, I attended three 21st party! A surprise party for dear tintin, Ivy's one @ Micheal Hotel & May's one at Changi area. And then the main highlight for this month will definitely be my Bkk trip (yes! again!). Of course, wholly enjoyed myself for this trip & the main credit is certainly the company :') wish I could pen down all details of the trip on my blog.. so that in future, I can look back to my travel post and recall as much as I can. There's so much to blog about but I do not know where to start and also I guess the biggest problem lies on my goldfish memory. As one week passes by, memory starts fading. Sigh, how could one trip that used to hold much dear memories be forgotten? That's why they say happiness is short lived.

Attended two 21st this week. Eamon's party was totally eye-popping, wow-wow one. My dream ''suite'' every since I saw TypicalBen's 21st. Never expect myself to land up there one day! Heh, another thing to be thankful for this month. :') Just came back from Night of Horror last Sat and it wasn't as boring as what most people perceived! I kinda enjoyed it though I got freaked out a few times haha but then again, whats the fun without getting scared? :)

For the past weeks, it felt like time spent with the boy wasn't enough. I wish there were a day in between of Saturday and Sunday. I wish there wasn't army or guard duty.. wish he could be here anytime I feel like seeing him. But oh well, #lifeofaNSgf. Sharon and Dad birthday this week plus Felly's Hens night. My closest friend is getting married and I'm super stoked for her!! OMG. On top of all these activities, still gotta juggle between the endless project and work. Reckon within fun, study and money, you just gotta give up on one. Guess which one did I choose to give up on next month?

Two Birthday Boyz @ Jamie Oliver

Celebrated Edwin's 21st over at Jamie Oliver. I was super looking forward to this day because it marks the last day of exam! Yepzzz, its a month (or more) backdated post. Holiday are long over and I'm already in my third week of a new semester. Hah. Anyway, the food looked too deli to not post it up. #majorfoodporn

Wild Mushroom Ravioli - $25~(?)
Food portion is really small despite ordering the larger plate!

Kel's Risotto $25(?)
Ahaha I remember the guys saying $25 for this plate of ''porridge'' ?!

Truffle fries! I prefer this kind of 'fatter' fries compared to the normal thin ones.

Can't remember the name of this side but boy it was yummy!

Happy glutton with our food
Photobucket

Overall, nice ambiance with over-priced and not filling food. Well, as least to most of us. Haha.

Last but not least, group photo! A norm for every outing. Edwin's eyes are always closed! Hahaha. Short of one to our Perfect 10! The clique haven't been meeting for quite some time now & hopefully in our next meeting, it will be full attendance and filled with fun, joy and laughter like how we used to be. :)

Wake me up when September ends

My title said it all. Can I just skip September and wake up to October tomorrow? I can't wait for the short and very much needed getaway in October. School's starting this month and hopefully there won't be piles of work to be completed and constant stuggle to meet project deadlines for the first few weeks. Will be working quite a number of shifts too & I suck at multi-tasking. It's either job or projects, can't seem to juggle and strike a balance between these two! & I reckon that's the reason why I don't work more than 14 shifts a month. Would always want to hit 16 shifts for the airport voucher! Haha. On a brighter side, my two bestfriends' birthday falls on this month and I've got two 21st to attend. All seem good for now. As long as school don't give me shit, I guess Sept is not that of a bad month after all.

Take a chance and don't ever look back.

It's always darkest before the dawn. I'm sorry and, thank you, for everything. No amount of words could fully describe how I feel towards you.  One chapter closed, and to many many more great chapters to be unveiled. ♥

Buffet Town + Pre Exam Symptoms

On the day Keith is back from Brunei, we decided to have Buffet Town for Dinner! Definitely will be back there again. Buffet Town > Momiji hands down! Guess I would prefer a wider spread of food instead of just Japanese food. Both the boy and I have major love for oyster and sashimi! Lost count of how many plates we got! Bring me back there again darling~

Have been dreading for this week to come - Exam week. I'm totally basked in holiday mood especially so after the 4 days long weekend. Spent every day with the boy driving around (to JEM for the first time), food hunting (but failed cox the stall just disappeared), cooking (pancakes + fondue), lazing around etc. Well well, one still have to face the music at the end of the day. Thank god I only have 2 papers but fml that one is on Friday night and the other one is on Saturday morning. Shall try to push myself to start earlier and the boy promised me my reward though I still don't know if I could accept his offer or not. Ha! Nonetheless, with reward or not, can't wait for the week to be over! :)

A Day of Cafe Hopping

Cafe hopping for the day with @Joylnn. It's been more than a year since we had a full day out!

PS Cafe @ Dempsey

Look at the spread on our table!

'Lulu''s leftover lasagna (if I didn't get the name wrongly). The plate tasted almost as unappetizing as it looked. Or maybe I'm just not a fan of greens. Wrong choice and I think we left more than 1/4 of it untouched?

Truffle fries was definitely the main highlight of the meal! Worth our $17(?) :)

Made our way to Robertson Quay for dessert! Had a hard time finding the location. Sometimes you just gotta trust the GPS over your instinct. Hehe.

Laurent Bernard Chocolatier @ Robertson Quay

The place seemed to be ''out of SG'' as there were more foreigners than locals! Somewhat similar to Clark Quay but somewhere more toned down/ chillax? Wouldn't have came here if the outlet @ Portsdown wasn't open. Nevertheless, dessert was great! I guess this is the best my camera could capture but it definitely taste better than it looks :)

Last picture to end off this entry. We were both coincidentally clad in denim top. Well.. great minds think alike huh? Haha. There will be more days of today to come (with many more road trips too).
Till then

Where will they be?

This blog post is gonna be quite controversial and me myself don't even know if I will agree with what I'm saying at the end of it. Kong and Joy (actually till now I still can't believe that it came out from her) both said that no matter how many friends you have currently, it all doesn't really matter because everything will eventually boil down to your life partner. Hence, whats important is to find the right one because he/she is going to be the one who we will be spending the rest of our life with. This sentence suddenly dawned upon me... how true. Look at your parents, they seem to only have each other and all they have in their mind are probably work and family? Family is definitely the main reason to why they are slogging their guts out. How often d'you see them going out with their friends? Yes maybe once a little now and then but hey most of the time they only have each other. Then now the question is, do friends really matter? Yes of course they do to me. But I have also came to realize that they may not necessary be the one who will be constantly there for you in the near future. I'm sure they have their own life too and eventually (again), it's your partner who's gonna be there. Prolly this may be the reason why we have friends that place their boyfriend/ girlfriend on top of friends. They know what they are getting into in future. Haha. But don't get me wrong, I love my friends, they are an awesome bunch of people and I'm thankful to have them in my life. I am sure that they have got my back and will always be there whenever I needed help. I am just not confident of how it will turn out to be in maybe 20-30 years down the road? Will friends still be there? Or in worst case scenario, close friend now has became just hi-bye friend. How sad. Friends aside, what if the ''right'' one you found turned out bad. No friends, no partner, just how depressing can life gets? All in all, I'm still glad that I've found the one, the right one whom I dearly hold close to me. :) Hopefully he's the one who wouldn't let me down in future.

Anyway, YOLO! (taken from Christina's IG)

Just do it, no regrets. :)

Bkk Day 4

Last day of our 4d4n Bangkok adventure. For 4 days we couldn't manage to wake up for Pratunam morning market! It opens daily from 6-9am if I'm not wrong. Checked out at 12pm and shopped around Pratunam and Platinum mall. Last few pictures to sum up our trip. It was indeed a fulfilling one just regretted not shopping for more stuff. :P oh & its a pity we didn't hit on the weekend to visit JJ market. Would love to go back there again.

G'bye city of angels. See you again next year! Already planning for one with the cuzzies :B

BKK Day 3

This entry is going to be loaded with pictures. Places hunted for the day; MBK, Siam Square, Siam Paragon; Platinum Mall; Pratunam night market & the day ended with a lovely buffet dinner :)

Got our caricatures done & it totally doesn't look like us. Still it was worth for SGD$8.

Loved the spread of the buffet but was kinda bummed after leaning that the oysters were out of stock. 2 pictures to sum up the end of day.

Till then.
